How was the overall experience of learning Science through ‘Distance Learning’?

I would say that this semester with distance learning went pretty quick especially in science. The labs were fun and it was interesting to see the results after a lab. Overall I would say science this year is most certainly different with more labs and experiments. In 6th grade science was fun but we didn't do many experiments and even less since we weren't at school. So far I would say science during distance learning has been one of my favorite classes because of the constant change, we usually make a lab that's completely different.

Which labs or activities would you kindly suggest be ‘retired’ or improved upon in some way?

I honestly think students should be given a choice to choose an experiment in the chemical reactions as long as it includes a chemical reaction. It would also be cool to let students make their videos in a creative way instead of filming the process. For example, students should have the choice to add stuff like transitions and audios to make the video more entertaining and hooking for the audience. I think the chemical reaction lab should be improved by giving students the chance to choose their project and to grade how creative their video is, which of course would let students express themselves in different ways.
