The mining in Alberta canada
In google timelapse, we got to watch how different ecosystems changed through time. The mining in Alberta changed the ecosystem drastically. First of all, in 1984 the mines in Alberta were extremely small the impact on the ecosystem was minimally damaged but as time passed the mines extended and started to have a noticeable impact on the ecosystem. In google timelapse, I could see how fast the mine expanded when doing that I noticed that in the most recent years the mine expanded greatly and at a much faster rate. In addition to that, I predict that in the following years according to the pattern the mine will extend in much higher amounts and probably make the ecosystem collapse. Finally, a change that I noticed in this ecosystem was that In 1984 the ecosystem had a lot of green areas, and in 2020 those areas where noticeably decreased.
