2021: What am I looking forward to this year?
As we all have experienced, 2020 was a year full of confrontations and new experiences. For a lot of us, adapting to distance learning still remains a challenge, and quarantine may have us a little distracted from what truly is happening outside our home. Although, the most important thing of all, and one of the qualities that makes a smart person, is the capability of getting the best out of a bad situation. And what better way to turn a setting like this around than with goals?
Setting goals for yourself, not only creates a sense of organization in your life but a sense of reality as well.
Some of my goals for this year are:
-Improving my HOL's
-Achieving a better relationship with friends and family
-Projecting my learning outside of school
"It's not how good you are, it's how good you want to be" -Paul Arden
How will I plan on improving my HOL's?
I plan on improving my HOL's, by asking my teachers for advice, or guidance, and by trying my best to include all habits of learning in class.
On the other hand, the way I will achieve a better relationship with my friends and family is by talking to them more often, and by taking more time to listen to what they have to say about their life, and how it may be going.
Finally, I will project my learning outside of school, through new creations or ideas I may have, and by seeing how other people around me are implementing their learning in society.
