Should Students Wear Uniforms?

Should students wear uniforms. This is a question that has been tossed around schools for, years. Some schools have uniforms and others don't, it could even vary by grade. Now, there are two sides you need to at this by, the pro uniform, and the no uniform. For the pro uniform, they make the argument that it's easier to get ready for school because you wear the same thing all day, there might be less bullying because of clothing, and it represents the country their in. On the other hand you have the no uniform, for this side of the argument they state that, students have more freedom to wear what they want and feel more comfortable at school, they get to express themselves more by wearing the clothes they wish and they also say that wearing the same thing gets boring and dull after a long time. Now I cannot say which is better, because they both have they pros (the ones I just mentioned) and their cons. Just because I personally don't like uniforms doesn't mean other p...

Should students wear uniforms?

Should students wear uniforms? I believe that students should wear uniforms. It is because that way, students can feel more included. Uniforms can prevent students from bullying about other people's clothes. Also, they can feel that they belong to a community and feel like a big team if they wear the same thing.  I prefer uniforms because it's easy to choose what to wear in the morning.

Should Students Wear School Uniforms?

FDR has a uniform policy, but one of the unintended 'benefits' of distance learning is that we can dress however we want from home.  Do you think students should wear school uniforms? Choose 1 side and write a claim with reasoning and finally evidence as a short paragraph comment below.  Example I believe __ (CLAIM) __ because __ (REASONING) ___. Here are my reasons__ (EVIDENCE #1) __, _ (EVIDENCE #2) __, and ___ (EVIDENCE #3) ____

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

Image
If I were to be any other animal it would be a killer whale because they spend most of their time messing around and I think they have no predators and they are a predator of almost everything in their area. They also travel in groups so I think it would be easier to get food and live life. They are on top of the food chain so they don't worry about anything and basically eat swim and sleep. They also don't keep them much in captivity anymore because of accidents so that's another plus. One downside is that they aren't fish so they need to breathe which means they can't stay that long underwater for example sharks can stay underwater for however much they want but orcas need to breathe every 10 minutes.

Turritopsis dohrnii (The Immortal Jellyfish). I would like to be this creature because it is really fascinating to me, it is literally immortal unless you eat it or it is killed in other ways.  How this works is that the Jellyfish starts as a Larva, like a newborn, then a Polyp, a baby, then a Strobila, which is like an adolescent, and then Epgyra like an adult. This sounds like a normal life right? Not immortal, mortal, but when the immortality comes in is when the Jellyfish is under stress. This makes the Jellyfish consume itself and switch back and forth through life stages. So in theory the Turritopsis dohrnii is really immortal.

Outdoor Space

Image
One of my favorite outdoor spaces is next to the car. I prefer, these, places, since, there, I can sit, and do my stuff. I prefer better next, to my car since my rabbit likes to lay beside it, I can see him and maybe gain more trust, for him, to love me more. There is a lot of wind on that side, so it's really, fresh. From that view as well, I can see my whole garden, and some of the plants, in it. I as well, like this place since it's the only place where the neighbors, cannot see us what we are doing from their window. And in that place, as well, I can see a clear sky.

Why are snowflakes so fascinating?

Image
When I first saw a snowflake I was mesmerized I had never seen such a thing. The first thing that caught my attention was its shape it looked somewhat like a star but with much more detail, the next thing was its weight when a snowflake fell into my hand it felts o fragile and as if it had no weight and it was able to break with just a cold breeze of wind, lastly how cold it was it felt like I was holding a small piece of ice. All of this left me captivated that's why I think snowflakes are so fascinating.

Will humanity ever be able to time travel?

Image
Time travel is a big and broad topic.  It's full of questions, like, will we ever be able to time travel, can we go to the past and fix our errors, can we go to the future to see our future lives or can we stop time. No one really knows. Nowadays, with prior knowledge on investigations, it could be very hard to time travel. From what humanity knows, there isn’t a physical "time capsule" where you could teleport to different eras. History and knowladge have been passed on from generation to generation by people.  There hasn’t been a machine as showed in movies where you could fly from time to time. Probably sometime in human existence, there will be cars that can take you to different places in less than 0.01 seconds. But going 100 years to the past or to the future is pretty extreme.

If I could. be any other living species apart of a human I think it would be a blue whale, apart from being the biggest animal in the world it brings the curiosity of exploring all the things on the water that aren't explored by humans, it would be a dream. Since it puts things of geography because you find new places that no one saw.  I could maybe find a species that we think is extinct. But most importantly I could see the beautiful wall that's on the ocean. Although if we could choose a species that extinct I would choose either the "vaca marina" or a diplodocus.

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

If I could be any living thing other than a human I would be a lion. I would be a lion because a lion has a lot of virtues such as hunting so you can easily have a source of food, also there are few animals that target because they are predators and they are not in too much danger. Also, most lions in the savannah live in a very good environment that is protected by national parks. I would also use my human intelligence to make decisions that are good for my survival. They also live in groups and I like that. I also really like the lion because it shows strength and courage.

If I could be any living thing other than a human.

This would be a very interesting topic to discuss about for me personally, I think a vey generic answer for most people would be an animal because that could be the first thing that pops into mind when you hear this topic. For me I choose something much more different, I know that there are numberless solar systems in the universe that have life on those planets so I thought since we know a lot about the living things on Earth what about the living things on other planets that we haven't yet discovered. So from that Idea I would choose to be a living thing from another planet to experience something new and to learn about intelligent life on that planet.

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why? I have thought of this question before, and I find it a really interesting question. I would choose to be an animal because, in my opinion, it would be so amazing to experience the world of animals, maybe seeing with their eyes the world, maybe experiencing what they think, what goes through their mind, how do they communicate with others, etc... There are so many animals and also species of them, but I would definitely choose to be a bird, or even any animal that can fly high and far, and that's because I would like to experience the ability to fly and be able to go wherever I want by using my own wings, and to travel and meet new places from a different eye or perspective.

Why are snowflakes so fascinating.

Image
I think that snowflakes are fascinating because no two snowflakes are the same and each snowflake has a unique shape size which makes them fascinating. snowflakes are identified by a thin plate of crystal with six arms that form a star-like shape and has unique detailing. snowflakes form when rain falls out of the air and the weather is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit freezing the rain making snowflakes.

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

I would be an anaconda. I would be an anaconda because they don't have bones other than their teeth, they are stealthy and are a feared creature. Anacondas are very big and strong and they are a very feared predator, they can swallow up a human like it were to be popcorn and could kill almost every land predator.

Why are snowflakes so fascinating?

Image
I think that snowflakes are so interesting is because they hit that magic intersection of science and ephemerality. Science, because the conditions of the temperature and air need to be just right for the 'growing' the crystals which resemble beautiful and complex patterns, but also 'ephemeral' in that the snowflake itself is both fragile and with a little warmth, short lived.  I read once that no two snowflakes are alike due to the billions of possible designs and crystalline patterns that forms them. So, when you are seeing a snowflake, no one else has seen the same one ever in human history, nor will anyone ever see that particular type of snowflake again. In an insane world, having a tender moment of natures beauty commands our awe, respect and wonder.

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

I would like to be a Greenland shark mainly because of their lifespan because there are animals like the immortal jellyfish that live a lot of time until this day immortal jellyfish are immortal none have died by age but the Greenland shark as any other sharks it can attack making it a predator and its flesh is toxic and most importantly they live about 300 to 500 years Greenland sharks may be somewhat ugly but to live 300 to 500 years being ugly doesn't matter.

What is your favorite outdoor space near where you live?

My favorite outdoor space that is near my house is the forest and woods.  I am from a country that forest, trees and mountains are really common and I really like the ambient it has. I use it to walk, relax and play hide and seek.

Why Are Snowflakes so Fascinating?

Image
I feel that the reason snowflakes interest so many people is how every single one is different and how every snowflake cannot be a copy of another one. I think that it is also interesting how they are formed and how they might develop from a water molecule to a falling snowflake. But I think that people are so interesting in snowflakes it just how pretty they look in general, and how perfectly symmetrical each side of the snowflake is, and that's just crazy to me.

If a had to be any living thing other than a human I would probably be a dog because they have a lot of love from my owners and privileges and I don't think they have any preditors do I think I would be safe.

favorite outdoor place my favorite outdoor place is the beach because I can do a lot of fun things there. On the beach I can play some games like soccer or freebie, also I can create things from sand, like houses or sandballs. I could go take a swim in the sea and also ride some waves. finally, I can relax in the warm air eating ice cream. because I can do a lot of fun things, I think the beach is my favorite outdoor place.

My favorite outdoor space

My favorite outdoor space near I live is my park because I have a lot of memories there, I used to play soccer, tag, ride my bicycle, and use my roller skates. The park is in front of my house but I rarely go there because my parents don't let me go outside because of the pandemic so I have not gone to the park in 1 year. It is also Chinese-themed so we would go there every weekend to see other Asians there and I made a lot of friends.  This is the park in front of my house but only this is Chinese themed, the park is bigger.

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

Quokkas I think that I would definitely want to be a Quokka, the happiest animal on earth! Quokkas have no natural enemy/predador. As a result, Quokkas are naturally curious and trusting. They will walk straight up to something they find interesting. They can only be found on an island in Australia and are herbivores, they only eat plants. I like salad a lot so that is another good thing about being a Quokka. Sadly, they have been dying out because of humans, the biggest reason why species go extinct, but that is the only con of being a Quokka, everything else is great!

Favorite outdoor place

My favorite outdoor place is where I ride horses because I enjoy being with the horses and i also have friends there so i have a lot of fun.

There really isnt much places to go outside my house but i do enjoy going to my childhood park. I remember going there as a child everyday to play with my sister and nanny. i can remember playing in between the flowers and playing around the fountain. i used to go there every afternoon and used to have a lot of fun.

I f you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?  If I could be any animal I would be a dolphin. I would be able to go into the ocean without feeling the freezing water and without having to hold my breath when diving in. I could travel at great speeds through all the ocean. If I was a dolphin I would go to the deep ocean and explore all the living things there. I would jump meters above from the surface and then dive back in. Another benefit that dolphins have against other animals is that they can communicate between them while other animals can. I would love to be a dolphin for a couple of days and have fun in the ocean.

fish

I would be a axolotl. why I don't know I just like them.  But one benefit is That I have regeneration of limbs 5 times and organs. I am 1,000 times more resistant to cancer than humans

If you could be any living thing other than a human, which would you be and why?

If I can be any living thing other than a human, I would like to be a sloth because the sloth does everything slowly. Sloth can climb a tree, also Sloth is very strong swimmer as well. When they swim they  will sometimes drop down from their treetop perches into the water and use their extended arms to propel through the water.  They swim really fast... Sloths are very kind. They don't kill people unlike other animals, but they  attack . They  attack  while their  not aggressive, if confronted they  can  attack.

The last flower

Image
Once there was this big red rose that lived in a house's yard, but on Christmas, the owners had a son. Since that day they spent less and less time in the garden and did not water the flowers. The flower was starting to die until one day the kid had grown and the parents went back to watering the flowers, but when they did the flower was always the last of all the flowers to get watered. Later in life, the child had grown and was an adult and before he went to college he was given the rose, which was when the rose got its attention.

What Is My Favorite Outdoor Space Near Where I Live?

To choose one outdoor space would be very hard to do, but if I had to I would say the soccer field. When I step onto the soccer pitch and play I forget about everything else and I just have fun. It's something soothing for me and it makes my day. Especially when you play with your friends it just makes everything better.

Favorite outdoor place near where I live

The Park My favorite place near my home is the park that is right behind it due to the peacefulness and space it provides because it lets me do a lot of things whenever I want to especially now that it is isolated only to people who live with an entrance to the park. I've done a whole lot of exercise there during the pandemic so that I could stay in shape and so I could stay healthy. My dogs really enjoy the park, like me because they can play, do a lot of things, and if they pee they don't get chastised. There are a lot of people that keep it clean and people are mostly responsible with their dogs so the park stays clean which is really nice.

If I can be any living thing other than a human, I would like to be a dolphin. I would like to travel through the ocean and explore freely. I also heard that dolphins can communicate with one another and I thought that was very cool. I also want to jump and do acrobatic spins in the air!

Favorite outdoor space where i live

It's not really very close, since you have to drive about one or two hours to get there, but the place is very nice. There are very few people that go there and there is a lot of nature. There is a fish pond and different trees. Since the place is normally isolated it's very peaceful, so it's nice if you want to take a break from society.

Should we be looking for the possibility of human immigration to other planets?

Image
For the past decade, as science and humanity progress into the future, many people now ask themselves if looking for possible life outside earth is possible- maybe we could start transforming planets like Mars, into future places to live?  I have arrived at 2 conclusions:  First of all, I think that finding the possibility for there to be human life on other planets, is a great demonstration of technological advancement and a way to test our capacity as human beings, and how far we can go throughout the generations, and as a species.  Although, I also believe that at this moment, focusing on inhabiting other planets on the solar system should not be one of our top priorities, as it is only going to make life worse here on earth. Finding the possible opportunity of human life in the rest of the solar system seems to become an excuse to continue climate change in our society, and I consider that terrible. Before moving on, we need to have a strong base to jump off of,...

The Late Bloomer

Image
The tulip reared its small, misshapen head.  It was spring time, and the green stalks were giving way to petals. Beautiful petals full of maroon, purple and striking yellow. The other flowers were standing taller, attracting insects which would pollinate it and ensure that it's offspring grew and passed on their genetic code.  But this tulip was not sharing in the celebration.  While others were sprouting colors, this one was not. Was something wrong with him? Why is this happening. It's not fair. The tulip wondered if this was similar with other living things. Did the biggest brutes pick on and intimidate the smaller and weak for being, well, smaller and weak? If so, what an unfair world.  Tis the way of things. Some colors bloom too soon, some late and some not at all. The tulip was reminded of a poem called 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' by Robert Frost. In this, 'Gold' refers to as the best things in life like our youth but youth, like time, fades with age. What wa...

Why are snowflakes so fascinating?

Image
Why are snowflakes so fascinating? Snowflakes are fascinating because they are symmetrical. They reflect the internal order of the water molecules as they arrange themselves in the solid-state (the process of crystallization). Water molecules in the solid state, such as in ice and snow, form weak bonds to one another. These ordered arrangements result in the basic symmetrical, hexagonal shape of the snowflake.  Their fundamental form derives from the arrangement of the water molecules in the ice crystal. When a liquid freezes, the molecules tend to settle in the lowest-energy state, and that almost always involves some form of symmetry. The higher the symmetry, the more stable the crystal is. Water molecules floating freely in a vapor begi...

Should extinct animals be saved?

Image
I think it depends if extinct animals should be saved. I have mixed opinions about extinct animals. I say they should be saved because we have a bigger variety of animals on our planet but, i also say no because they could be a danger to society. Im saying they could be a danger because of their interactions with other animals that are currently alive, also we don't know if their behavior has changed, i mean they could attack people. We have to remember that it's been a long time since those animals walked our planet and bringing them back could be a big danger to people.

What is your favorite outdoor space near where you live?

Image
My favorite outdoor space where I live is the beach. I really like the beach because you can do so many things including getting into the ocean. I really like getting in the ocean with my friends and also going kayaking with them or doing wakeboard.  When I go kayaking with my friends we go to an island near my beach house. Where we climb tall places to jump into the ocean. Also, we see seawolves and other animals.  We also do wakeboard in a jet ski and it's really fun. We also take go-pro to take pictures and videos.  I also really like coming back to. the sand and laying there with my friends and family. We also do sand castles, holes, and things to roll the sand ball we made.  Also, I and my friends always get into the ocean again at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm which is really fun since there are only surfers in the ocean.

If you could be any other living being that isn't a human what would you be?

If I could be another creature that isn't a human I would be a cat. The reason that I would like to be this animal is that it seems very interesting how they view the world and how we appear to them. I just want to be able to see what goes on in their heades
