Should we be looking for the possibility of human immigration to other planets?
For the past decade, as science and humanity progress into the future, many people now ask themselves if looking for possible life outside earth is possible- maybe we could start transforming planets like Mars, into future places to live?
I have arrived at 2 conclusions:
First of all, I think that finding the possibility for there to be human life on other planets, is a great demonstration of technological advancement and a way to test our capacity as human beings, and how far we can go throughout the generations, and as a species.
Although, I also believe that at this moment, focusing on inhabiting other planets on the solar system should not be one of our top priorities, as it is only going to make life worse here on earth. Finding the possible opportunity of human life in the rest of the solar system seems to become an excuse to continue climate change in our society, and I consider that terrible. Before moving on, we need to have a strong base to jump off of, and the earth today is falling apart with greenhouse gasses and plastic pollution. We should first focus on improving life on earth before we try to move - on as a species.
