Why The Good Place is the best series ever
The Good Place may seem like a normal Netflix series. Probably you have heard about it or seen it in your Netflix recommends. It begins smoothly, like other series. Nothing really special about it. Four humans died and went to "The Good Place" where everything was good, there was no drama, and humans would live happily ever after. The four humans, Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason arrive, everything seems perfect, humans there were extremely kind, they had everything they could possibly want, but Eleanor, she didn’t have a good feeling about the place, she felt like she didn’t belong there. Chidi was supposed to be her "soulmate". He was very nice and helped her improve as a person to feel more integrated into the "good place" society. As she improved as a person, she met Jason, he also didn’t feel like he belonged, and Elenor really felt something was wrong. Everyone thought she was a charity helper, that saved thousands of children and died saving lives, while she actually was a regular human, with a high dose of selfishness, and Jason, he was supposed to be a monk, while he actually was a street DJ. Chidi and Tahani were good people, but Chidi's indecisiveness and Tahani's competitiveness stopped them from helping people from the "real good". After a long time, Eleanor realized that they were not in the good place! they had been in a mutual manipulation system, IT WAS ACTUALLY THE BAD PLACE! What could they do? How could they achieve going to the real good place? Would they be able to escape torture?
( watch it on Netflix right now )
