Meandering rivers Iquitos Peru
The biggest changes I saw in google's timelapse during the last 30 years are the trees surrounding the river. In some years you can see that there is a lot of green and can barely see the brown floor, but in other years like 1997, you can see a lot of the brown floor and not as many trees as before. Even though a lot of cut trees there are also some years after 1997 like the year 2000 where there are a lot of trees. This is happening because of deforestation and a lot of people cutting the trees. This is a problem that needs to be solved. This can be solved by every time someone cuts one tree you need to plant two more like people did in Kenya.
