Meandering Rivers - Iquitos, Peru
|1984
Something that changed over time is that the shape of the river changed. Before, there was one river, and it split into two rivers and went back again. But over time, the thinner river eventually joined up with the thicker river and became one. Since this is a natural thing, I don't think we need to change anything to prevent this. But maybe there might be problems for the people living there. Because the river joined together, people who took fishes to eat in the thinner river would have to travel a longer distance to get food. |2020
